HDPE is a white powder or granular product. Non-toxic, tasteless, crystallinity of 80%-90%, softening point of 125-135ºC, use temperature up to 100ºC; hardness, tensile strength and creep are better than low density polyethylene; abrasion resistance,electrical insulation, toughness and cold resistance are better; chemical stability is good, at room temperature, insoluble in any organic solvent, resistant to corrosion of acid, alkali and various salts; film permeability to water vapor and air It is less resistant to aging and less resistant to environmental stress cracking than low-density polyethylene, especially thermal oxidation will cause its performance to decline, so the resin must be added with antioxidants and ultraviolet absorbers to improve the deficiencies in this regard, and high-density polyethylene film has a lower heat deflection temperature under stress.

HDPE HD55110 is a bimodal high density polyethylene with a particular molecular design developed with Total Petrochemicals Double Loop Technology™.HDPE HD55110 has been especially designed for applications where high film properties can be obtained both in pure, in blend or in coextrusion films.HDPE HD55110 can be used in high neck extrusion as well as low neck extrusion and is dedicated to several applications such as food packaging, lamination films, carrier bags, pouches, industrial packaging and hygiene packaging.
